As an AI Cloud Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and operating the cloud infrastructure that powers production AI systems. You'll work as part of our Managed Services business line, alongside developers, data, automation and cloud experts. Your focus will be on the infrastructure layer: ensuring AI workloads are deployed safely, run reliably, scale efficiently, and don't blow through budgets.

What you'll do:

• Design and implement cloud infrastructure for AI workloads: compute, storage, networking, and security.

• Implement infrastructure-as-code for reproducible, version-controlled AI environments.

• Build and manage Kubernetes clusters optimized for ML training and inference workloads.

• Set up and maintain data platform infrastructure: data lakes, warehouses, streaming pipelines, and vector databases.

• Build observability solutions: monitoring, alerting, and dashboards for AI-specific metrics.

• Ensure security and compliance: IAM, network policies, encryption, and audit logging for AI systems.

• Support incident response and maintain infrastructure reliability under SLAs.

What we're looking for:

We are looking for a cloud or data engineer who wants to specialize in the infrastructure that makes AI work in production.

We hope you recognize yourself in most of these:

• 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering, platform engineering, or DevOps/SRE roles.

• Strong hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure or AWS preferably).

• Solid Kubernetes skills: deployment, scaling, troubleshooting, and optimization.

• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, or cloud-native equivalents).

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.

• Interest in AI/ML workloads and willingness to learn the specifics of ML infrastructure.

• Good communication skills – able to collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers who think differently than infrastructure people.

• Fluent in Finnish and English.

Additionally valuable:

• Knowledge of ML platforms: Databricks, Snowflake, or managed ML services (SageMaker, Vertex AI, Azure ML).

• Familiarity with data infrastructure.

• Experience with vector databases and their operational requirements.

• Understanding of FinOps practices and cloud cost optimization at scale.

• Exposure to MLOps tools.
